FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Neeraj has been at the forefront of the Internet revolution in India and has played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s digital entertainment landscape. Neeraj founded Hungama in 1999, at a time when the Internet ecosystem in India was still taking shape and has since led the organization to become one of the largest distributors and aggregators of digital entertainment content in South Asia. In the past 20 years, Hungama has reached out to over a billion consumers and today, its services are available to users in more than 190 countries. Neeraj was voted amongst the ‘Top Ten mobiThinkers’ and ‘50 Most Influential People in Mobile Entertainment’ globally. Neeraj was also awarded the Sun Microsystems – Economic Times Young Leader Award. He is an active speaker at various international forums such as Mobile World Congress, CTIA and World Handset Forum etc. and on several domestic and international committees advising on the global mobile and digital entertainment economy. In the past, he has served as the Chairman of the Mobile Entertainment Forum – Asia (MEF) and the President of International Advertising Association – India Chapter.

Siddhartha leads the company’s consumer and business initiatives across its multiple verticals. He has championed multiple innovations in the digital entertainment space and has also been instrumental in crafting unique consumer experiences for Hungama’s users. He has been the driving force behind the company’s international expansion and delivered Hungama’s services to users across the globe through associations with international telecom operators. Under his leadership, Hungama has further strengthened its distribution business and partnered with over 400 content creators, record labels, studios, broadcasters and game publishers globally for digital and mobile content. Siddhartha was the erstwhile COO & co-founder of Big Adda, India’s largest youth network, a part of the Reliance ADA Group. Prior to Bigadda.com, he has worked with MTV Networks and Star TV India.

A veteran financial expert, Saumin has led financial planning and growth across multiple organizations in the entertainment industry. He brings with him a rich experience in the sector and has been instrumental in supporting the organization through multiple rounds of funding. He has also been a key part of the leadership for steering the company towards growth. Prior to joining Hungama, Saumin has worked with Jagran Prakashan Limited, Complete Out-of-Home Media Solutions as Head – Finance & Commercial and Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Limited in different capacities. He holds a degree in B.Com from the University of Bombay and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Anuj oversees the company’s business and consumer initiatives and is responsible for their growth and expansion. He provides strategic direction required to ensure that every Hungama business is in sync with consumer needs. Along with his team, he looks into the end-to-end management of Hungama’s distribution and aggregation businesses. Anuj holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Management from the Institute of Productivity and Management, with a specialization in marketing. Prior to Hungama, Anuj had a stint with Spice Corp. Global and T-series, which contributes to his extensive knowledge of the music and content industry. He has also worked with World Wide Immigration, Pepsi Beverages and Dabur India Ltd.

Sanjeev is an accomplished global executive with a proven 38+ year track record of strategic and business leadership within the media and entertainment industry. He has led cross-functional teams, across geographies, in movie production, distribution and marketing, video games, digital music and digital content, home entertainment, consumer products licensing and advertising. At Hungama, he works closely with senior management in overall strategy and with team leaders in the areas of global and domestic content licensing, local content creation, marketing and social media, programming and business alliances for Hungama's market-leading video and music OTT platforms. Prior to Hungama, Sanjeev served as the CEO of Reliance Entertainment for six years. He has also worked in regional and global roles with The Weinstein Company in New York and with The Walt Disney Company based in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Los Angeles across movies, video games and consumer products licensing.

Suleman heads Bollywood Hungama and is responsible for its operations and strategic development. He began his career in the year 1997 with the launch of IndiaFM.com, which was India’s largest online destination for entertainment news. The company was integrated with Hungama in the year 2000 and rechristened Bollywood Hungama in February 2008. Over the years, Bollywood Hungama has become the most credible source of news and information for Bollywood enthusiasts all over the world. A Bachelor in Engineering (Computers) from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Suleman has long been regarded as a true Bollywood buff and a trade expert in the business of entertainment. His trade acumen and knowledge of the box office have made him a known name in the film fraternity.

Raunaq shoulders the responsibility for Hungama’s partner, Hungama Gameshastra. She also oversees celebrity and movie IPs for Hungama’s multiple digital products and extensions, and various celebrity relationships for the organizations’ gaming offerings, apps and other content. Raunaq completed her Bachelor’s in English Literature from Sophia College and Master’s from Mumbai University. She has over 21 years of experience in the content and media industry. She has founded 3 publications, Indiawali Brides, Brides Now and Beautiful People. She spearheaded the publications’ online versions, putting together the teams and content for fashion, lifestyle, entertainment, art and numerous other verticals. She has also worked with Ogaan Publications as the Editor-in-Chief.

Soumini Sridhara Paul leads Hungama Artist Aloud, a talent and independent content platform, and Hungama Kids, a platform for kids across age groups. Launched in January 2010, Soumini has spearheaded the set-up of Hungama Artist Aloud, South Asia’s premier digital platform for established and new talent with independent audio and video content along with a dedicated team. She is also Head of Operations and Content Development for Kids and other channels on YouTube. Additionally, she also leads special content creation and event IP projects for Hungama including brand solutions and CSR initiatives. She is a versatile, end-to-end, strategic brand custodian having experience of building start-ups from inception involving conceptualisation, brand building, operations and revenue. She has over 2 decades of experience in the entertainment industry including television and digital media across music, talent, animation, fiction and non-fiction categories, with exposure to the global market. Milind has been leading Hungama’s legal team since 2009. He is responsible for appraising internal and external clients on legal developments. He develops detailed litigation strategies for each case getting favourable orders from various courts, tribunals and also from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has registered various trade marks for the company helping create brand value for the organization. His experience spans 30 years and he has also practiced in the High Court as a lawyer and worked as a consultant with many corporates including Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd, Maharashtra Minerals Corporation, Kolsite Group, Pankaj Industries, Club Mahindra. In addition to studying law, he also pursued an MBA in HR and Materials Management separately.

He is also responsible for the conceptualization, budgeting, production and final roll out of Hungama Originals – original stories for digital audiences. In a career spanning 28 years, Ashish has worked across several verticals of the entertainment industry, including digital, home video and music. Prior to Hungama, he was the Business Head at BoxTV.com, a Times Internet Limited venture. He has also worked with Reliance Big Entertainment (Home Video division), where he was responsible for the acquisition of 3 of the biggest Hollywood studios – Warner Home Video, Universal Pictures International and Paramount Home Entertainment. Additionally, he has worked at Saregama India Limited, Video Master Dubai, Tips Industries, Plus Music, BMG Crescendo, Hi Hat Music & More and Times FM, in different capacities.

Sonia heads content programming for Hungama across its music and video verticals. Her creative expertise has led the company to launch several original shows and properties, in addition to reinventing its day-to-day programming for enhanced consumer engagement. Prior to Hungama, Sonia has worked at Hindustan Times Media Ltd. where she was driving the flagship station Fever 104FM. While with HT Media Ltd. she also crafted the launch of Radio Nasha across India and was the voice of the station to boot. Internationally, Sonia has spearheaded operations in the Middle East with Arab Media Group’s radio vertical: Arabian Radio Network and was driving programming & creative for its Asian Services. Under her leadership the channels have won the best station awards from leading publications like Time OuT & Ahlan! Masala and more. Starting out as a writer with Times Entertainment, Sonia has also been an on-air presenter with Radio City Delhi. She graduated from the first creative batch at MICA and has an honours degree in sociology from Miranda House, University of Delhi.
